Local pickup and local delivery orders

Currently, Shopify doesn't offer a way for Cleverific to mark an order as local pickup or delivery. Because of this, all edited orders are being created with Shopify, assuming they'll be shipped.

Change local pickup/local delivery rate in Advanced Mode

You can't select local pickup or delivery from the Shipping dropdown menu in Cleverific. However, you can edit the rate.

  1. Select an order from your Shopify order list. 
  2. Click More Actions > Edit Order.
  3. Navigate to the Total section of your order.
  • Local delivery

The shipping rate set up in your Shopify settings will be reflected in Cleverific under the Shipping field. To increase or decrease this rate, click the shipping rate name (Local Delivery) and manually enter the amount. Then, click the blue Apply button.

  • Local pickup

Local pickups will show the pickup location name and will be defaulted to a free shipping rate.

Fulfill your local delivery/pickup order

Because Shopify always assumes that an order edited in Cleverific should be shipped, all local delivery/pick-up orders must be marked as fulfilled. This means that when the order has been picked up or delivered, you won't see a "Mark as delivered" or "Mark as picked up" button on your edited order page; instead, you will see a "Fulfill item" button.

Steps

  1. When the items are delivered or picked up, click Fulfill item on your Shopify edited order page.

  1. Click the Fulfill item button without entering a tracking number. Shopify will add a reminder if your customer has selected a local pick-up or local delivery method at checkout.

In your Shopify order list, you’ll see whether your edited order is a local pickup or local delivery under the Delivery Method column.

Note: Local pick-up/delivery orders can't be edited in Quick Mode due to Shopify's limitations.
