Refunds for Facebook and Instagram orders

Cleverific is tied to Shopify's limitations and doesn't entirely support Facebook and Instagram orders when it comes to automatic refunds after edits. This article will explain the best way to proceed with refunds for these orders.


Due to these limitations in Shopify, only a manual refund for the entire amount can be issued via Shopify through the original order. Partial refunds can't be issued on these orders.

Issue a full refund

  1. Open your original order page in your Shopify Admin.
  2. Click Refunds.
  3. Enter the full amount noted under the field as "available for refund"
  4. Click the Refund button

Issue a custom amount refunds

At the moment, custom-amount refunds for Facebook or Instagram orders must be requested to Shopify Support to be issued on your behalf.
