Updating the “View your order” button in your Shopify order confirmation template
If you're using Customer Portal to let customers edit their own orders, a quick way to drive customers to use it is by updating the copy of the “View your order” button in your Shopify order confirmation email.
Update the "View your order" button
Steps
- In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications > Customer Notifications.
- Open Order Confirmation.
- Click Edit Code at the top right.
- Search (Cmd + F or Ctrl + F) for
View your order
- Update the button text to View or change your order (or any language you prefer)
- Save your changes.

Tip: You can also update the wording of your order confirmation email to let customers know they can make changes through Customer Portal.
