Sending an email notification when updating an order

By default, Cleverific does not send emails to your customers when you edit their order. You can change this by selecting an email confirmation template before saving your edits.

1. In the editing screen, click the dropdown menu under Email Confirmation

2. Select the "Order Updated - Default Template".


When you save your edits, Cleverific will send an email notification to your customer letting them know that their order has been updated.

Change a default email notification template

You can configure a default template in your Cleverific Advanced Settings. With a default template selected, you won't have to select a template every time you make an edit. Here's how to do this:
  1. Open an order in Shopify and click More Actions > Edit Order, or start a new order or draft order via Cleverific.
  2. In the editor header, click the wheel icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Select Advanced Settings from the dropdown menu.

  1. In the Email Notifications section, click the dropdown menu and select a template to be your default.

  1. Click Save to confirm your changes.
