Understanding the offer settings in Cleverific's Upsells

Each offer has a set of settings that control how it behaves for the customer. These appear below the offer fields on the offer setup page.

Offer settings

Show even if it's already in the order (multi-step and single-page funnels only)

By default, the offer is skipped if the customer already has the product in their order (any variant counts). You can turn this on to show the offer anyway. Skipped customers continue to the If declined step.

Free shipping

You can show a "Free shipping" badge on the offer. By default, post-purchase items don't add shipping charges, so this is always accurate.

Require confirmation to accept

You can require customers to tap twice before the offer is accepted. This prevents it from being added by an accidental tap.

Countdown timer (seconds)

You can add a limited-time countdown to create urgency. Enter a number of seconds, or leave blank for no timer. The offer moves on to the next step when the timer ends: either the "If decline" step (if one is set up) or the Thank You page.

Order tag on accept

You can tag the order with a custom value when the offer is accepted.
