Adding an Edit Action to your workflow in Shopify Flow

Use Cleverific to add promotional items to your orders with Shopify Flow automatically. To get your automation set up in Shopify Flow, you'll need to add your Edit Action ID to your workflow.

Add an Edit Action ID to your Shopify Flow workflow

  1. Navigate to Apps > Cleverific Order Editor.
  2. In the nav menu, click Settings and select Edit Actions.
  3. Copy your Edit Action ID from your Edit Actions list.

  1. In your Flow app, click Create Workflow.

  1. To set up a workflow, start by adding a trigger. Click Select a trigger, then Shopify for your automation. In this example, we selected Order created.

  1. Next, add a condition for your workflow. Click the (+) symbol and select Condition.

  1. Click Add a variable and select a condition and its logic. In this workflow, we added a minimum amount condition (totalPriceSet).

  1. Next, add an action. Click the (+) symbol under True and select Action.

  1. Click Cleverific Order Editor and select Edit and Add items.

  1. Type {{order.id}} into the Order ID field, and then paste the Edit Action ID you copied from Cleverific into the Edit Action ID field.

  1. Name your workflow and click Turn on your workflow.

Note: You can monitor your workflow status by opening it in Flow and checking the Recent runs section

You now have a workflow that automatically adds one or more promotional items to your order based on your preferred conditions. Use this modular process to add promo or sample products to your customer's orders, reward loyal customers with gifts and incentives, and more.
