Adding backorder products to an order
Cleverific can be used to add backorder products and create an order even when a product is out of stock. This article will show you how to do this.
Add backorder information
Cleverific does not check the “Continue selling when out of stock” setting from your product page because we want to allow you to create or edit orders without restrictions.
Steps
- In your Shopify Admin, navigate to Orders.
Click More actions > New Order.
- In Cleverific, add a customer to the order.
- Add the out-of-stock product to the order.
- Click Save, and then Send a Payment Request to collect payment.
- When the out-of-stock item becomes available to ship, and the order is marked as Paid, fulfill the order.
