Adding a product to an order with Cleverific

You can use Cleverific to add a product to an existing order in Shopify. This article will show you how to do this.

Add product to an order

You can add products via Advanced Mode, Quick Mode or draft orders.

Steps

  1. In your Shopify order list, select the order you want to edit.
  2. On the order page, click More Actions > Edit Order.
  3. Click the search product bar and enter the product title you want to add. Once you find the product, click on it to add it to the order.

  1. Click Save.

Note: You can also send a Payment request via Cleverific to collect the outstanding amount.

  1. You will now be redirected to your newly edited order or draft order, which will contain the product that you added.

Product status

Your product has to be active to appear in the results. If you can't find your product, you can perform a strict title search by entering 'title:[search-term]' into the search bar and replacing the [search-term] with the product title. 

If your product is inactive, feel free to contact us, and we'll enable the ability for you to add products with a draft status.

We can also enable Shopify's product search for you if your workflow relies on this.

Tip: Your customers can also add items to their orders via Customer Portal.
