Shopify Flow + Cleverific limitations
Updated last month
Due to limitations in Shopify's order editing API, some orders can't be edited with our Cleverific + Shopify Flow integration.
Orders created by third-party apps
Shopify currently restricts which orders an app can edit. Cleverific's Shopify Flow integration cannot edit orders created by other third-party apps.
When Cleverific detects orders created by these other apps, they are tagged (with "Edit Order - Expand Bundles Failed" or "Edit Order - Flow Failed") and then skipped over.
You will see in your Shopify Flow's Recent Runs that the workflow failed with an error.
Tip: An easy way to verify if your orders can be edited in Flow is to open an order created by your third-party app and click "Edit" at the top right of your Shopify order page. Shopify will display an error message if the order can't be edited.
Orders allowed to be edited by Cleverific + Flow
Cleverific can edit orders in Flow that a Shopify channel creates, such as Shopify Point of Sale (POS), Online Store and draft orders.
Subscription-based orders placed with the new version of Recharge and other subscription apps available on the Shopify App Store can be edited by Cleverific's Shopify Flow integration as long as they are directly created through Shopify Checkout.
