Deposits and partial payments in Cleverific

You can use Cleverific to handle partial payments and deposits by applying a discount. This article will show you how.

Create an order with a deposit or partial payment

1. Open your order in Cleverific's Advanced Mode.
2. In the order discount section, apply a discount to the total amount by entering either a percentage or a flat amount, which will result in the deposit amount (see Customizing discounts for your orders).
3. Click Save.
4. Select Send Payment Request.

Collect the remaining balance of your order

1. Open the order in Order Editor's Advance Mode.
2. In the order discount section, remove the discount from your order.
3. Click Save.
4. Select Send Payment Request.
