Returning products to inventory
Updated last month
Cleverific can be used to remove products from orders, return them to inventory, and automatically issue a refund for your customer.
Return products to inventory
You can perform this edit using Advanced Mode or Quick Mode. Quick Mode doesn't offer a setting to prevent products from returning to stock or to prevent refunds from automatically being issued.
Steps
In your Shopify order list, select the order you want to edit.
On the order page, click More Actions > Edit Order.
Click the trash icon next to the product you wish to return to stock.
Click Save.
What happens after saving your edits
The product(s) will automatically be returned to inventory (unless you use Cleverific's "Do not return to stock" setting override in Advanced Mode).
The price difference will automatically be refunded to the original payment method (unless you use Cleverific's "Do not issue refund" setting override in Advanced Mode).
If you used Advanced Mode, the original order will be marked as canceled, and a new order will be created.
If you used Quick Mode, the edits will be saved in place, directly onto your original order.
