Preventing adding or editing products based on product tags in Customer Portal
In your Customer Portal settings, you have the ability to prevent customers from editing or adding specific products by using product tags.

When you use this setting, customers won’t be able to search for and add any products that have the specified tag(s) in your catalog.
Steps
- From your Shopify Admin, navigate to Apps > Cleverific Order Editor.
- Go to Customer Portal settings > Customize order editing section.
- Under Decide which products can be edited, in the first field, enter the product tag(s). You can enter as many tags as you need.
- Your changes will be automatically saved.

When you use this setting, customers won’t be able to edit any products that have the specified tag(s) in your catalog.

Note: You can bulk edit your product list in Shopify to add tags.
